6th day - trip to Kraków

10:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. visiting old town of Krakow
2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. lunch in the restaurant PEASANT FOODS
4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. meeting with representatives of Slow Food Poland
7:00 p.m. back to the countryside and supper (traditional farmhouse foods)

The total price price based on min. 6 persons will be 570 GBP per person. Two for the Price of One!

Get expert schooling in the English language and expert advice on ecology "at the same time" from the same person!

ECOCENTRE ICPPC - - International Coalition to Protect the Polish Countryside www.eko-cel.pl is launching a series of lectures - in English - on environmental and ecological practices that everyone should know and care about. These lectures will be presented by Sir Julian Rose, the internationally respected organic farmer, environmentalist and the President of ICPPC. The lectures will take place in the clay-straw eco-barn situated at ICPPC's headquarters in Stryszow, Malopolska.

This is the venue visited by HRH The Prince of Wales on his Polish visit in 2002.

Here is a unique opportunity to get ahead in your English language skills and to find out the secret to success in all things 'ecological'. Don't miss it! Lectures will be 2-3 hours and incorporate a trip around the ICPPC ECOCENTRE ICPPC. All ages are welcome to apply. The subjects will be chosen according to the age ranges attending. The objective will be to combine an authentic lesson in the English language with gaining a knowledge of key environmental and ecological issues that can be applied to improving the quality of your everyday life.

The course fee will be:

  1. visiting ECOCENTRE ICPPC (45 minutes) with English guide (Sir Julian Rose): 7 PZL/per person
  2. 45 minutes lecture in English: 160 PZL/ per group

You can chose one or more lecture from the below topics:

  • Adopting an Ecological Life-style
  • Food and Farming: 'You Are What You Eat'
  • Working with Nature

PERMACULTURE and TRADITIONAL COUNTRYSIDE SKILLS

We would like to welcome you to join us in a very special experience right in the heart of the Polish countryside. An area rich in natural and cultural bio-diversity, with traditional and organic small scale family farms and delicious farmhouse foods. You will be housed on a small holding and in farmhouse accommodation known as 'POTOCZEK' www.potoczek.pl 'POTOCZEK' is situated right next to the ECOCENTRE ICPPC where you can join one of the following ecological workshops:

The total price price based on min. 6 persons will be 1900 PZL per person (1900 PLN= 467.77 Euro with rate 1 Euro= 4,0618 PLN). The price includes: costs of accommodation, three meals a day, lectures in English, workshops, English speaking general guide and local travel costs. The price does NOT include international travel costs and transport from and to the airport (or train station) in Krakow.
